Declaring allergies on school form

DC1 is going to visit a beekeeper and teacher has emailed to ask us if he has a bee allergy. As far as I know he's never been stung so I'm not sure if I should answer "no he doesn't" or "no known allergies". He does get hayfever, but is this classified as an allergy for school purposes or do they just want to know if a child has one which could be lethal?

I’d go with “no known allergies”. This is part of the risk assessment schools have to do when they take kids on trips/visits. They will want up to date information in case the child needs an epipen etc.

That or get DC to deliberately annoy a bee and see what happens. 😁🐝

I might put hay fever if it's lively to affect his, I went to school with someone whe has debilitating hay fever and she couldn't go out at playtime for part of the year. A little sniffle and I wouldn't bother
