Hello,

Can anyone recommend any good interior bloggers or books? I don't like instagram so they need to have a blog or youtube.

Style wise - ideally not the cliche homogeneous style you see all over insta.

I think that the good thing about Insta is that you can narrow down which style you really like, then follow the blogs or whatever afterwards.
If you gave us a suggestion of a style or stylist that you like we could suggest other similar
bloggers/stylists? It’s too vague otherwise!

Gives more than that! Rural? Modern? American western?!? I love a bit of poshish period homes done with colour and a slightly nuts but traditional edge. Niche eh? I like Lisa Dawson who has a blog. Louise roe. Though she’s a bit into pretty stuff for me. Why not try some of the mags like house and garden and try to get some labels for the style you’re after and and names of people who are good?

I also love Rita Koenig and Beuta huesman.

Depends on the style you like. I like studio McGee because there is so much content on their YouTube channel. But it’s a particular look.

Sorry should have been more explicit

I like Beuta huesman & really like Jonathon Adler so I like colour, prints & texture & not into minimalism or very feminine. I do like things to be practical & functional though.

I do buy Living but I need something a bit more affordable.

I will check out names on here, thank you.

I use Pinterest for this, because you can get the algorithm to work for you.

Create a board e.g. living room. Start pinning absolutely everything you like the look of, then after a white go through all the pins and whittle them down to the ones you really like.

The Pinterest algorithm will generate new pics in that style, and a lot of them will have come from blogs that you can then follow.

You also end up with a handy reference board. Repeat for all rooms / garden / whatever.
