Is it normal for them to be doubled up with packages from the same online store?

Just been to collect mine ( first time using) and someone else's parcel was in there too.

Theoretically they could have taken mine.or I could have taken hers ( I didnt obviously) but surely if something happened to the other parcel im.basically the first person they'd suspect as I had access to it.

Its all good idea other than that.

No. It’s not normal.

You have correctly had the details of your locker and found your item.
Honesty means that you have not taken someone else’s item

Now that you’ve collected yours the locker thinks it is empty, and will at some point offer itself to someone dropping off a package, but they will find that it’s not empty

The proper recipient of the other package should not have also had notification, and their package should now be just showing in transit:

Not having been put into a locker - on the theory that yours was logged but two were put in by mistake, or an empty locker has been logged for the other package

Unless their system has failed and allowed them to log two different packages to the same number

Oh dear..

A few things that could have gone wrong then

I was wondering if the other recipient would have received the " thank you for picking up your parcel" email and be panicking about now

No that isn't normal but I also think it's likely to be a one off human error of some kind.

I'd contact their customer services to let them know in case the other party isn't able to access their parcel or has raised an issue. I'd probably have taken a photo of the parcel in the locker at the time but I'm a bit of a jobsworth and things and obviously there isn't a lot you can do now anyway other than let CS know if you have the time.

Well I would send an email except the email address seems to be very elusive fir evri...

Not sure a chatbot would be of any use ..

Is it worth contacting asos instead?
