I'm trying to get an acccurate idea of scale of these beads, so I want to know exactly what size this coin is. I can't find the same coin image on google. Do you know? Many thanks

That looks like an American penny although the color looks off.

Looks like a quarter to me which is about the same as a 10p piece.

the colour looks wrong in the photo but from the picture (Lincoln) it definitely seems to be a penny. In which case its diameter is 19.05mm

It’s a US penny - diameter is 19 mm / 0.75 in.

ffs, it's a Lincoln penny, copper layer may have come off. The size is standard for 1966. Those are pretty big beads.

American coin collector here. This is correct. They're commonly referred to as Lincoln head pennies. Interestingly, they were made out of steel during WWII to conserve copper for the war effort.
