Netherlands 12 year old vaccination requirement

Has anyone travelled to the Netherlands recently? Do children have to show proof of vaccination?

Me, DH and 14 year old DS have the NHS app and are fully vaccinated. DS aged 12 has two vaccinations but he had the last one todayand it won't be two weeks before we go. He only turned 12 in April and before that under 12s couldn't get vaccinated, I know they can now.

Are we screwed?

These are the rules: www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/visiting-the-netherlands-from-abroad/exemptions-to-the-entry-ban/eu-entry-ban-exemption-categories

It says "Children under 18 travelling with their fully vaccinated parent(s) or legal guardian(s) do not have to be vaccinated themselves."

So are we actually OK?

I am so confused.

You're good. Because they're travelling with you and are under-18 they are exempt from the vaccination rule. If they had been travelling by themselves they would've been fully vaxxed.

No vaccination status checked for anyone at any point on our trip.

DD2 and I were in the Netherlands last week and nobody checked our vaccination status on entry.
