Mine include:

  • The feeling of drinking a glass of water when you're super thirsty

  • The feeling of cleaning your ears

  • The feeling of scratching an itch (especially a mozzie bite)

What's yours?

Watching bees doing their thing
That feeling when sun dries water on your body - like if you sit in the garden after a water fight.
A toddler putting their arms around your neck or basically any time a toddler shows affection it's always so ott.

The sight of the ocean under the sun sparkling like diamonds.

And (lowering the tone slightly) i've got to say i scan read your OP as

  • The feeling of cleaning your arse

Cuddling the kids.

Watching my baby granddaughter take her first steps.
Seeing my baby granddaughter’s beaming big smile when she recognises us.
Feeling my older granddaughter slipping her little hand into mine.
Jumping in muddy puddles with my oldest grandchild.
Lying cosy in bed ( in winter) and hearing wild wind and rain outside.
Being with friends and someone says something unexpectedly funny and you all look at each other then burst out full belly laughing.

I don't really agree with this. Only if you have a safe home, food and clothes etc to begin with. I love being out in nature and that's free. But I wouldn't love it if I had to live there... IMO the best things in life are only free if you are privileged. God I sound like a miserable cow!!

Yes, this is true. You're not going to enjoy the view if you're hungry and cold and don't know where you'll sleep tonight.

My Grandad used to say "money can't buy happiness, buy it makes being miserable a damned sight more comfortable".

But in the spirit of the thread parkrun!

Assuming that 8 am sheltered, fed and safe, I love picking things. Scabs are best, but spots and dry skin will do at a push.

Also,

Listening to nature
Weeing when I am busting
A cat taking a liking to me
