It's my dd (aged 9).

Poor thing is saying it's stinging and hurting when she walks. The gp gave a steroid cream and then a type of emollient after the dry skin has all come off but it's not really helped much and it's now started on her other heel too Sad

The gp thinks it might be psoriasis but wasn't sure.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated, im really starting to worry now.

My dad had terrible psoriasis all over his body (one of those cases where they used to get med students to come and have a gander whenever he was in hospital) and that's what this look like to me.

Is it itchy? That was the number one symptom. Also, flakes of skin everywhere.

Does your Gp surgery have the option online to ask for an appointment and attach a photo? Do that so there is a record. Or ask for her to be seen. I'd be saying to GP that you aren't happy with the service so far.

Thanks for all the replies.
I think our next port of call will be gp again to get bloods done and rule out fungal infection.
Will have to find a podiatrist if gp continues to be useless.
I have Dead Sea salt so could try that at home also in the meantime.
