Enough is enough campaign

No, not to get the song to be Xmas number 1. It's a campaign around energy prices, wages and cost of living with five key demands aimed at alleviating the difficulties caused by these.

Lots of threads on here around the subjects I know. Anyone thinking of joining the campaign?

Lots of people saying "I won't pay" - in reality people mainly will - or face a prepay meter forever more.

It's not about not paying bills. It's a broad campaign about wages and living standards.

@iliketartan I don't have Twitter but they seem to be getting a range of amplification. Even the express ran a piece on them! (In between Diana conspiracy theories and warnings about epic snowfall affecting house prices lol.)

I am not joining for the simple reason their demands are unsustainable. Who is going to pay a minimum wage of 15.00 per hour and the same for people on benefits and pensions? Including on top of this the 20.00 universal credit uplift to be reinstated. Who is going to pay for free universal school meals? Who is going to pay for the 100000 council houses they are demanding to be built per year? Or the rent cap they are demanding ? They also demand the price cap be returned from the 4266 per year back to 1227 immediately..it can;t happen however much we would like it to.Whilst all their ideas are admirable it is going to cost a fortune. These policies are based in fantasy land,

Yes realityland of fuel company CEOs getting a million pounds each a year selling gas for £4500 a year to people taking home £12000 a year after tax is obviously more realistic 🙄
