Any big boobed wild swimmers out there?

What on earth do you do when you come out and are getting changed? I got one of those big change coats in aldi which will be great. But i cant get my usual massive underwired bra on as its too much of a fankle.
I was thinking of getting like a bandeau bra i could pull up from the bottom of myself but i really can't imagine a bra like that that would hold up my 36j boobs. And going braless is just awful.

has anyone got any advice?

Another vote for M&S support vests. I just step into them.

They don't provide a massive amount of support so I wouldn't go jogging in them but all I'm doing is going home and they are sufficient for that. A million times better than wearing nothing. I use them to sleep in too. Have so many of them!

Sainsburys do a really easy to put boring black pull on wire bralette thing for big boobs thats pretty decent!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 07/08/2022 19:55

I either go home braless, or wear a pull on sleep bra type thing from Sainsbury's.

TeachesOfPeaches · 07/08/2022 19:57

Are you driving straight home in a car? If so, then forget about the bra!

FayeGovan · 07/08/2022 20:01

It depends really. But my boobs need a bra....

I just flash 😂😂. I cannot get anything on under my hooded towel without it getting trapped on the towel so I've found if I get dry, then get bra ready, whip towel off and hold it over boobs, then quickly drop it once my arms are in the bra straps I don't flash for very long

FayeGovan · 07/08/2022 20:13

I'll check out m&s and sainsburys

Thanks all, I'm new to wild swimming and bloody love it. Someone told me parasites can crawl up your bum..front or back...when you wild swim and can make you ill....is that true??

I don't think so! But a lot of our waterways and beaches are not very good water quality. I avoid sea swimming after a lot of rain, because of sewage 🤢

FayeGovan · 07/08/2022 20:47

Yes, ive heard going swimming after heavy rain is a no no

At this time of year (and because it’s a short walk and drive) I just chuck my dry robe on and get in the car. In winter I pull on a t-shirt and very baggy hoodie.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 07/08/2022 20:57

This is what I wear @FayeGovan. I'm a 36f and wear an XL. Sainsbury's bra

Occitane · 08/08/2022 00:25

I’m a similar size to you, and I have bought a Miss Mary non wired bra, in a bigger band size than normal, which I wear as a sleep bra. It’s really comfortable, not quite as supportive as my normal bras, but much easier to put on. Could this be a solution? It’s this one:

Put the bra on clip at the front on top of a T-shirt, swivel it round so cups are at the front, pull it up to boob level, stick arms in shoulder straps….I see no issue.

Hi,
I found it ok getting dressed under a loose rain poncho. It's big and roomy with large arm holes so you can pull a towel, bra in the arm hole and lots of room for movement.

I use underwired tankinis because a two piece makes it easier to get changed. But the tankinis are so comfy (just as good as a regular bra) I frequently dry off and drive home without changing.

Skirts (especially elastic aged waist maxi skirts as mentioned by a pp) are the easiest to change into.
