Spin Bike For Home...ant recommendations?

DS plays a sport and could do with a spin bike set up at home. I also would like to start using it every other day to shift some weight and get abit healthier.

Any recommendations?

Peloton for sure

I have a peloton and love it
You can do everything from yoga to barre to weights using the app as well as obviously the spin classes
The instructors are a decent range from quiet coach to cheese motivation!
I'm not wealthy at all and the £39pm membership is quite a bit to me but I would rather give up Netflix than my bike. It's improving my fitness and mental health - WFH means getting on it after work then showering is my separation between work and home

Went from no exercise to almost daily, getting through the sweaty awfulness of being so unfit was the hardest part

We have a Bowflex and love it. Way less expensive than the peloton and no monthly subscription needed.

will look at both. So you have to purchase the bike first then pay the monthly fee for the programmes - is this it? Sorry Im all new to all of this!!!!

The bike we have is a Bowflex C6. The same bike is sold under at least one other brand name. Here's a review:

www.healthline.com/health/fitness/bowflex-c6#price

Bowflex will have someone come to your house and assemble the bike for a fee. We did this and it was well worth it.

A small digital display shows time on the bike, resistance level, speed, and estimated calories. There is no touch screen like the Peleton or the higher-end Bowflex, so there's no need to subscribe to anything. There is a shelf where you can put an iPad, Kindle, or another tablet. You can watch cycling videos on Youtube. I usually watch Netflix while on the bike. The Peleton without the subscription has very low functionality.

An advantage of not having a built-in touch screen is that it's one less thing to go wrong.

I have a JLL IC300 pro (approx £400 when I bought it 2 years ago) and the £12 p/m Peloton digital app subscription. Without trying to sound hyperbolic, it's been life-changing.

Thanks I will have a look at all these
