Do you view 17 year olds as adults?

For some reason the thought of being considered an adult terrifies me. I do work a part time job and help a lot around the house. I try not to act like a little child but I still do feel like one. I’m really scared. I wish I could go back a couple of years. I feel like I haven’t grown up as much as my friends.

I think it's pretty grown up but I don't subscribe to thinking young people are children until they are 28 which seems to happen on here Grin

No. My daughter is 17, still in school and she's no way an adult.
My son just turned 19, has a job and lives on his own. He does his own shopping, laundry etc, makes his own GP and dentist appointments etc, but I still don't quite see him as an adult. He still relies on me for a lot of emotional support.

Not at all. And I wasn’t either at that age..

No, a child to 18, then a ‘young adult’.
