False allegations

I am having false allegations spread about me.
About basically one of the worst things possibly, that I'm abusing my child.
Yes it's reported to the police.
Has anyone else had this happen or am I the only one???
What do I do???
I'm so worried people will believe them

Who is doing it? That will depend on the advice and yes I had something similar but not as bad ( a malicious phone call made about me to ss)

The neighbour as part of the harrassment
I've had many reports to SS about me
Some lies, some true (the true bits are when my child is having an outburst/screaming)
They have called 999 on me so many many times obviously everyone is safe. I don't need advice in my child's behaviour I've got that in hand
But I'm becoming increasingly worried about them spreading these allegations to other people and whether others will start to believe them now (I don't know) and whether they'll then convince other people to get on board with it too and other reports will be made just cos they've convinced them and no one knows how horrible these people are

Have you sought legal advice? What have the police said?
Has she been spoken to?

Yes police have spoken to them, said everyone's safe, done their safety checks bla bla bla.
And told them it's normal household noise (as another part of the harrassment was them having the noise recording device put in so we've been recorded that way for ages) and to stop ringing 999 or it could be construed as harrassment (although it already was)
So they stopped ringing 999 and instead still been ringing SS and also (the but I'm most bothered about really) spreading the allegations to people

No I haven't sought legal advice. I just don't really have the money.

I wondered if anyone had any experience of this or if it is just me!

I would move sorry but that’s all you can do

purpleme12 · 01/08/2022 10:40

No one's going to buy the house with everything they're doing/done 😓

Could you go to the Police to complain against this ongoing harassment?

BlanketsBanned · 01/08/2022 11:08

Maybe social services and the police should carry out a welfare check on the neighbour if she is behaving like this, perhaps she is the one who needs reporting.

purpleme12 · 01/08/2022 11:11

The first incident of harrassment was over a year ago.
I have reported everything
Unfortunately I've not got the evidence for every little thing they've done

Could the police warn them that they could be charged with slander if they spread false malicious allegations about you. Can you get evidence of other things they do if it continues

I've got cameras now which is the only reason I've actually captured the allegations
It's just that in my opinion this is the most dangerous thing they've done
