Is this is a sippy cup?

My 2yo has 2 bottles of milk a day using this bottle- I thought it was fine as not a baby bottle (as per nhs guidelines on not using baby bottles after 1). But is this actually a baby bottle, or is it a sippy cup?! And if you did want to try & move her on from using this bottle, what is the right sort of bottle to move to next?

Is this is a sippy cup?

Is it a spout or a bottle teat?

My son is 2.
He uses open cups at home for drinking now. And a sports bottle type thing with flip down top for out and about.

Its a soft spout!

@Caspianberg does he have bedtime milk in an open cup?

@COL1N - he doesn’t have any milk upstairs or before bed now. But if he has milk to drink it’s in open cup. He has an open cup with water upstairs incase he’s thirsty overnight.

A sippy cup had a hard bit to drink from rather than a soft plastic teat. I would guess this is halfway between a baby bottle and a sippy cup.

HOWEVER I would try really hard not to worry about it. There are guidelines, other people will do things differently. We found that when the sippy cuos broke, my children were ready to move on.

They are 6 and 10, neither uses a sippy cup or a baby bottle!

Just a cup when you are at home like Caspian says and a drinks bottle for when you are out, like any child or adult would use.
