Extreme drooling

My almost 10 month old DS has also been a excessive drooler but recently I'm wondering if might be a be cause for concern. It's definitely not teething related like the HV tried to pass it of as when I mentioned it, because he's always been like this and he's not teething at the moment. He can't ever be without a bib, we go through so many a day. Earlier it was a rare occasion that he didn't have a bib on and his vest was actually wringing wet, dripping when I squeezed it when I took it off him. He's always soaked and I just wonder does anyone have any advice about this?

I do have other concerns (anxious FTM) like he's quite behind with all his milestones and I'm not sure if it could all be related, I can't help but worry if something's up. He's 10 months next week and still not making any attempt to crawl/pull himself, wave or anything like that.

My DS was always very dribbly, even when he wasn’t teething.
Is he booked in for his 1 year check with the health visitors? They seemed to do them at about 10 months where we are.

My ds had this. His speech was slightly delayed and his hearing wasn't great due to wax clogging his ears; all fairly common apparently. The drooling, ears and speech were all connected. He got his ears microsuctioned when he was about 4 years old and then we used ear drops for a year. His hearing and speech are fine now and the drooling has stopped too. But it took me to tell (not ask) my GP for an ENT and SALT referral to get things moving.

My DD was like that, and does have poor motor skills. It only started improving when she stopped having so much milk aged about 3.
( But it did continue well into teens having to be reminded to suck in or wipe her chin.)
