Well, people are being predictably 'funny'.
It looks very 70s, which is having a revival right now. Which is funny, because 10 years or so so, this style of crockery would have been considered dated. And so it will go on! Own it long enough and it will look dated. Keep it longer still and it'll be bang on trend.
Fwiw, I love retro crockery and always have. I collect pyrex and I'm seeing some of the old fashions come back round.
If you invest in crockery, it should see you through 20, 30 years. I haven't because we have children and are still in the crockery gets chipped and smashed days. But I'm looking forward to the time.coming when I can!
