I said I'm not cooking now hubby is in a mood

I told my husband and 2 kids last Friday that I'm not cooking at all today and tomorrow.i asked them to come the shop and pick food or tell me what they want for evening meal for these 2 days.
Kids have had deli meats some micro chips and fruit and vegetables raw picked from garden.
I'm not hungry so not had anything might eat later
5:45pm hubby said he'll get a takeaway, he hasn't, he's hungry so I've said eat what's in the fridge or cook your own.
So he's hungry grumpy and keeps saying what's to eat.
Just wanted a moan I'm not cooking, today or tomorrow.

Why is it your job to cook?

Very unattractive behaviour.

Any adult without additional needs should be able to make their self food without issue.

Does he not know how to make food for himself?

If you suddenly had to go away or into hospital presumably he wouldn't allow himself to starve to death.

Well he's had cornflakes.
He never used to be so useless he had his own house and did his own meals before we married.(20yrs ago)
I work part time him full time so I do all cooking majority housework and gardening in the 40 mind a day I'm home from work before I get the kids (he sometimes cuts the grass washes evening meal dishes)

We are currently outside having chicken and spicy veg wraps cooked on the BBQ - neighbours are doing same (not same food though) great way to get the man to cook when it's hot 🥵

So he's got used to you doing all the grunt work at home OP. This happens so easily. He won't consider that you work outside AND inside the home. Add up all the hours you work both paid and unpaid for a week. You'll be surprised
