I'm sat on the sofa watching Gilmore girls contemplating getting ready for work.

On the sofa in my underwear with a wet flannel on my chest and a fan pointed towards me, with all the curtains and windows shut! Considering mustering up the strength to walk the 8 feet to the freezer to get an ice cream. Might start the new Persuasion film on Netflix.

I’ve been at work all day, hottest part was making and serving up picnic lunches to all the kids (I work in a school). Now one child is in bed (but keeps getting up to tell me about various tiny issues), one is playing with Lego in his room and I am lying on my bed in front of a fan, trying to cool off!

All three of us sitting in a dark room on our devices as the power is out. No WiFi so they're all on my hotspot and I've got 13% battery left 😐

Lying on my bed mnetting in my knickers with the fan directly on me. Ds2 is next to me asleep. He's five, has ADHD and is going through an anxious phase so will only go to sleep next to me at the moment.
Eight year old DS1 is in the garden with DH doing manly stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️ he wants to light the chiminea. In this weather!
DCat is hiding somewhere cool.

I'm upstairs in the loo with the fan on 🙈 bloody hot in my toilet
