@1000chairs Welcome, and well done on the 2 yesterday. My average is a 4, with slightly more 3's than 5's, and only five 2's (after 202 games!)

I think a lot of Wordle is down to luck, especially with your first word. My DH and I always start with the same first word (I make it different each day) and yesterday I got it in 5, DH in 2. Today I got it in 3, DH in 5! So it's just down to which words come to mind that fit the letters, and whether it is the right answer. I like the games where it takes a bit longer to work out which words fit, even if it means I get a "worse" score.
But having said all that, I love playing it, and I'm very happy when I get a 3 or a 2. I'm still holding out for a 1 😃

I haven't posted for two days as I lost my streak and have been embarrassingly sulking. I am never going to say the word liver again

Thanks @MinkyTunes . I always start with ADIEU then second word I use is CORPS to get the vowels out of the way. I prefer to have to work for it rather than get it in 3 or less but start panicking if not worked out by 5 😵😮‍💨

Ack. Didn't get it and I've lost my streak- my first failure 😞 I needed two elimination words today.
