Spooky films for a pre teen

Dd12. Virtually unheard of night just her and me and dh as sister is out for a sleepover.

She wants a spooky/horror type film. She likes Tim Burton Sleepy Hollow and woman in black. Quite liked that one with the Amish community and the monsters (Signs?).

I am ok with a 15 if it's 15 for language (as her bestie swears like a trucker so that ships sailed) but don't want proper gore.

I have Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon prime plus iplayer and all4. Would prefer not to rent one if I can help it. DH has suggested Lost Boys but I loathe that film for a number of reasons.

Ideas?

Me too 😂 how could you hate that movie! The hairstyles, cute little Corey Haim singing in the bath, the dog killing vampires, the fact that Jason Patric looks as old as his mother in the movie! I just couldn’t hate it.

Ok so I can't really talk about why I hate it without upsetting myself. Suffice to say I am a big fan of rice and at times I have a distressingly strong imagination.

Dh is gonna watch it with her.

Interview with a vampire is a classic.
Has a young Kirsten Dunst - very underrated actress.
Tom Cruse, Brad Pitt (swoon) and Antonio Banderas.
( rushes off to rewatch)

Signs is on a farm, not an Amish community.

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin is some kind of Amish community and would maybe fit your bill.
