I never dare click on links anymore so wanted to see if anyone knew if this so genuine or not?

Spam

Assume it’s a scam. It’s trying to force you to click that link. Close it. Then look separately to see whether your access is limited.

No, not genuine. They can’t have blocked your inbox access (which is an odd turn of phrase anyway) as you’re in your inbox reading the email!

Click on their email address so you can see their full address and if it's a scam it'll be wrong.. usually quite obviously so but sometimes the address is [email protected]
Usually an official email address will be from (for example) @microsoft.com with no extras after the @.
The best advice is as per a PP'd suggestion- if in doubt, do not click on a link within an email. Log into whatever account they're referring to and check for any notifications within the account.

Spam, no question. Delete and report if you have that feature.
I must get these daily. Lots from banks about blocking access to my account due to unusual activity. Odd as I don't have an account with any of them...

Is your Microsoft account actually locked if you try to use it in your normal way so not using any of the links in the email?
