Anyone been to France with DC recently? Pls tell me about covid docs!

We are going to France next month with DC. Two are vaccinated, one is not as he's only just turned 12. However he did have covid recently and I logged it.

DH and I have our covid passes on our phones. What do we do about covid passes for our vaccinated teens?

And what do we do about our (as yet) unvaccinated 12yo who will be six weeks post covid when we go? Most of us are going EasyJet, a couple taking the Eurostar.

Please tell me what you did!

Have you read www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france/entry-requirements ?

Yes @definitelylettuce and about five other links including the French embassy link. But they are not clear on whether the vaccination cards are sufficient proof of vaccination for my teens, nor if there is a way of showing the youngest had covid recently.

Thank you though.

I was hoping to hear from others who've done and can say what is enough to satisfy the authorities.

"DH and I have our covid passes on our phones. What do we do about covid passes for our vaccinated teens?"

From the page:

"France will accept the UK’s proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record at the border."

www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-covid-pass#nhs-covid-pass-what-it-is-and-how-to-get-it

So you use that for the teens - either the app or the letter.

"And what do we do about our (as yet) unvaccinated 12yo who will be six weeks post covid when we go?"

From the embassy page:
"Unvaccinated travellers must present a negative result of a PCR test less than 72 hours old or an antigen test less than 48 hours old before departure (departure of the first flight when the journey includes a connection), or a certificate of recovery (positive result of a PCR or antigen test carried out more than 11 days and less than four months previously. This certificate is only valid for a period of four months from the date of the examination or test)."

All the links for getting a COVID pass (including the letter version) are here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/nhs-covid-pass/get-an-nhs-covid-pass/

Thanks Definitely, that is so helpful. I am now sorted for the teens. Bit concerned for the youngest though as he can only get a letter of recovery if he did an NHS PCR, which he didn't do as they don't do them now.

So now I have to pay loads for a PCR that might still be positive!

God this holiday better be worth it.
