Last thread filled up, here's a new one.

Give in and googled at 70, got 1 and 3 early on then suspected I would never get it (I wouldn't have).

I got the first and third words for my first two guesses, then figured out a specific detail. From this I knew for sure that I didn't know the answer but had enough to Google from.

You have probably all known this for months but I just touched a blacked out word by mistake and it told me how many letters are in the word.

Mind blown.

The other thing you may or may not have realised is that it knows how to conjugate verbs, so long as you give it the root verb. So if you enter enter 'be' and it will fill in is, was, were etc. Similarly if you enter E.g. large it will give larger, largest etc.

It does plurals as well, so if you’re guessing a noun always use the singular. It doesn’t do people if you give it person though!

I hadn't thought about it till now, I guess that's an odd one because grammatically the plural of 'person' is 'persons', even though nowadays we tend to use 'people'. Pedantically there's perhaps a distinction between 'a number of individuals' vs 'the populace in general'.

I like the fact that if you put in eg 2000 it will fill in any years and you can home in on the correct one - much easier than Redactle where you could spend forever trying to find a year! Same for any digits, of course.
