So i have my 3 year old German shepherd on burns dry food . This is one I was recommended and seemed to be one of the best one with no crap added to it. But now they have started to add maise? But disappointed that's been done. But is it still a good one to use ?

My pup is 8 weeks . He's come to me on iams which I want to wean him of . And put him onto puppy burns. As I hear iams is not good at all.

I'm a bit disappointed that burns has added maise to their ingredients. But im thinking it might still be good compared to others ?

I can't afford to give them raw meat. Dry food is what works best for us . Should I stick to burns or is there somthing better?

Have a look at the website allaboutdogfood.co.uk it allows you to select cost and compare foods whilst giving you a quality rating so you can pick the best in your budget ☺️

There’s much better brands out there but it depends on budget. Eden, Acana, Orijen etc all rate much higher. I feed six on raw for significantly cheaper than a high quality kibble, not sure why it’d be more expensive than Burns.

I thought you literally bought nest from the supermarket and fed it to the raw. It seems I'm totally wrong 😕. I'm going to try and look properly.

That isn't what raw feeding is about at all but it is personal choice.

I was going to suggest you weigh any options up on allaboutdogfood.co.uk but it's been suggested already, it is a good resource.

We feed our puppy natural instinct raw puppy food. He came to us on it, loves it and is thriving.

Ahh can see why you thought it’d be expensive that way. There’s lots of raw brands out there though with a good range of prices, brands like nutriment and natural instinct are more expensive than brands like bulmer and daf and easy if you have somewhere local you can buy it from.
