I wake up stiff as a board every morning and then spend 9 hours sat at a desk in agony too. When you think it cant get any worse, it does. My neck in paticular is in bits.

Ive seen them all but currently with an oesteopath and get deep tissue massage too. Which helps on the day and then i go to bed and ground hog day again.

Im sending my emma mattress back and need a new one. I spent 80 on pillows that i now want to replace for something else.

Im on my 2nd office chair that looks the business with support but is so uncomfy. Would a gaming chair be better?

I have read loads of threads on recommendations but still please give me some.

Mattress, pillows and office chair.

Mattress budget - 500
Office chair budget - 150
Pillows - 50ish i only need one as i already have so many anyway

If you have Psoriasis of the scalp have you been checked for Psoriatic Arthritis.

You need to introduce yoga or some similar type of full body dynamic movement (gyrotronics, Pilates) into your day. I can't function unless I do my yoga set of an evening, it sets me up to sleep well and I wake without much stiffness at all.

Find a good teacher and have some one to one sessions so that you can grow a daily practice.

IBS can be linked to Ankylosing Spondylitis.

The main initial symptom of AS is spinal stiffness. NASS have been hounding GPs and parliament recently promoting awareness of the disease because, believe it or not, more people have this than Parkinsons and MS put together.

You’ll need a blood test for the HLA B27 gene as a primary indicator & MRI for inflammation.

This is actually worrying how close it sounds.
I was getting night sweats for a while thought I was going through early menopause at one point but I realised my heating was coming on at night (new house/boiler) 😂 they have stopped now but I am sweaty at night.
My weight hasnt changed really so I dont know. Really need to get tests sorted.
Today is the worse morning ive had so dreading tomorrow even though I feel okish now.

When I had issues with my hands they sent me for a hand xray and never heard anything back so assume all was ok and thankfully it eased off after a few months. I was convinced I was starting with arthritis.

It seems one thing after another with my body failing.

Thanks I like andriana on youtube.
I do stretches but think the more I stretch the more my body fights against it.
I dont do it often enough as in bits when I wake up so havent got the time by the time I get a grip to get up.
Going to set my yoga mat up now before bed.

I do get neck problems regularly due to office work/ sitting in the chair whole day and looking at the computer screen. But there are many other everyday activities that can put a lot of strain on the neck/spine. It is common for a disc between your vertebrates to get inflamed and to press on the nerves as it expands. This can cause stiffness and a pain or numbness in the neck, shoulders or arms, and a headache too sometimes. This indeed can be very uncomfortable. Acupuncture combined with massage is the best I have discovered for this, plus herbs can also be used to speed up healing of the inflammation. It really works provided you get treatment from a suitably qualified professional.
