Why do you feel like this?

Take a good look at your life on day a weekly basis, are there any things you can cut out or share with / pass to others?

What do you feel you need help with?

Looking at some of my friends I’d say avoid marrying a useless lump of flesh if you can help it.

Other than that I like bullet journaling (but a calendar or desk to do works just as well) and list making. And learn to ‘eat the frog.’ Do unpleasant things first of all, and resign yourself to the fact that some things (like certain appointments, jobs at home etc) need to be done, so you might as well do them in good time. Streamline where you can - direct debits etc.

Get some sort of routine going

Find a place for everything. And try and keep it there.

Work out what's important. Whilst the cleaning and washing etc needs to happen, it's more important to do the things that you enjoy or that will benefit you in the long run - seeing friends, exercising, pursuing your own interests. Mental health and strong self-esteem are vital.
Bullet journals can work well to help you plan the good things as well as the more mundane.

Cook once, eat twice. So where possible cook double and freeze or turn it in to a different meal for next day.

Anything that would go a a hanger in a closet is hung up wet on a hanger to dry and if needed sprayed with crease release or steamed once dry.

Keep on top of laundry , do a daily wash if needed , seems less of a chore than waiting until the weekend

Keep calpol/ pain relief in your bedroom/ bathroom / ( it seems such a big deal to go and search for medicine with a poorly child in the dead of night, much easier to just go to your bedside drawer/ bathroom
Also keep a sick bowl / kleenex etc upstairs for quick access.

If it needs to go upstairs don't put it on the stairs until later. Take it up now. No one else will so instead if getting annoyed after watching them pass it ,just take it up now.
Less cluttered stairs, less annoyed and your steps are up.

If possible first week of school term , change a £10 note in to coins and keep in car for forgotten non uniform/ bake sale/ parking fees.

If possible book school meals for the month.
If packed lunch , get enough reusable zip locks for the week ahead ,on a Saturday ( because sunday is always full of 'jobs')
pack them ,add crisps/snack bar/apple or banana etc. Just add a sandwich as needed
Only saves a few minutes but makes mornings smoother.
In summer freeze your drinks night before...cold drink and cold lunch.

Basket on the stairs for all of the stuff that needs to go up that you forget about. Bung it in the basket and take it up next trip.

Wash up and clean the kitchen before bed for an easier morning.

Shared calendars for kids/medical appointments for everyone in the house which makes parents evenings/school events/appointments much easier to navigate.
