What time is reasonable for a 12 year old to stay out

Im pretty sure I’m not being the old fuddy duddy my almost 13 year old thinks I am but she wanted to stay out until 9pm on the common, about 20 minutes walk from home tonight and I thought that was too late. Her friends were allowed so that makes it worse for her I think.

Hmmm bit borderline

Hm2020 · 03/07/2022 16:51

I remember I was aloud out to 7.45 at 11 years old in the summer why such a random time I do not know 10 mins from home but in all sorts of situations I shouldn’t have been in.

Depends what they are getting up to I think. It's it's meeting up to pass cider and fags about and meet lads/girls then I wouldn't let them out at all at that age unless to a planned event.

There was a group of U10s out at 8.15 when I was walking home with my 11yo on Friday from her club...

9pm sounds ok for a 13yo as long as they aren't creating havoc.
