Things to do around Wembley?

Tomorrow we're going to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley stadium and we're getting there quite early so we'll have a few hours to kill before the concert starts. What is there to do? Don't want to travel further into London or anything, I'd be worried about finding our way back in time 😳(never really been to London before!)

You could visit the discount shopping area. It isn’t great though. I’ve bought a few sports bargains. Wembley also has a South Asian area where there is great food.

Scrap that - if you have a few hours, why not get on the tube and go to C London? It won’t take long. Wembley is shot and not worth wasting your life there when C London is easy to get to.

We have no idea how to use the tube, and tbh we'd really rather not risk leaving the area when we only have 3-4 hours to kill. It would be just our luck we'd end up in some random area with no clue how to get back to Wembley 🤦🏼‍♀️

The tube is easy to use (even for a townie like me 😅) but if you really don't want to leave Wembley then there is also a Cineworld alongside the Shopping outlet and restaurants. It's easy to fill a few hours.

The Wembley designer outlet will keep you busy. There is also a library there if you want to chill there a bit- my idea of heaven but I appreciate not everone's cup of tea.

If you have time check out Ealing Road. Its like Little India! Ladies wearing saris, lots of cheap exotic fruit and veg..its quite an experience if you dont live in a multi cultural area. I live in rural Oxfordshire and my kids loved going there!

Just be careful with shopping before the concert unless you have your car with you. They are strict on bag sizes that can be brought into the stadium

Ikea?

You could go to the Box Park for food. Its a big fancy building with lots of small independent food vendors (like food trucks) and a big bar and communal seating area in the centre. They often have stuff on the TV and you could chill there for a good while. Other than that as the others have said you could shop or eat at one of the many chains at the outlet village (all the restaurants are upstairs), visit the cinema also upstairs in the outlet village or go for some amazing indian food on Ealing Road (its a good 10 min walk from the stadium walk through all the shops then the restaurants start)

I would encourage you to head into London. If you get on the Jubilee Line at Wembley Park, you can go direct to Westminster for Big Ben. It's then a short walk to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Sq and all sorts of places like that. It's such a buzz seeing them in real life.
