I have this rash thing on my lower torso. It’s so difficult to get an appointment with the GP and I’m not even sure it warrants a GP visit.. does anyone have any idea what it could be please?

Can anyone help me identify this rash please?

Could it be shingles?

What does it feel like? Is it on one side only?

Ringworm?

Second ringworm. A simple anti fungal cream should clear it up

It’s very itchy. It’s just that one bit on one side.

I too thought ringworm, but lymes disease can also produce a round rash. Usually much darker though. Look up both in terms of symptoms and rash pictures. Hopefully its an easy clear up with an anti fungal. Get your pharmacist to have a look

Pityriasis rosea? ( Herald patch, more widespread rash follows few days later).

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 28/06/2022 00:52

That's ringworm,almost 100% sure but don't have a medical degree 😂

Get some Daktarin OTC and apply religiously and be careful about not sharing towels etc. See GP if doesn't improve, takes a couple of weeks though ime.

Looks more like an allergic rash to me - I get one like it from some metal buttons!

Squiff70 · 28/06/2022 02:29

My first thought was ringworm too but I'm not medically trained. You shouldn't be using a GP as a first port of call for a rash anyway. Show a pharmacist - they know a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff!

CherryRipe1 · 28/06/2022 02:39

Pretty sure it's ringworm. You'll need anti fungal stuff. I treated mine with tea tree oil & didn't need pharmacy stuff. Best get it checked in case it's a tick bite which can lead to (lyme disease).

QuestionableMouse · 28/06/2022 13:27

It's not a bullseye rash. They have a very distinct red center with a paler bit then another very red ring.

My thought too. Soooo itchy, but otherwise nothing to worry about.
