Accidentally in credit on credit card.

I’m with nationwide and I have a credit card with them and another with a different bank. Nationwide credit card had zero balance and other card had a hundred quid on it.

As the direct debit was due soon I wanted to do a faster payment and pay off the complete balance but I’ve completely cocked up and sent the money to my Nationwide card so I’m £100 in credit.

I feel like a complete idiot. Is there any way I can recall this money into my debit account or shuffle it over to my other credit card without incurring balance transfer fees or am I going to have to call nationwide and tell them what a dumbass I am?

DON’T withdraw it from a cash machine!

CC cash withdrawals almost always incur fees.

Yes but it's minimal compared with hassle of the other suggestions

Spending it on a food shop is minimal hassle!

I agree that it's a bad idea to take it out as cash.

BTW I worked at Nationwide for years it's incredibly common for this. In my 5 years working there I prob spoke to about 20 ppl who did this.
Staff won't think you are daft or stupid promise.
