I wouldn't have said they're all from the same year. Sandra and Irene are older than Claire and jennifer.

I was going to say 80's, with the exception of Irene I went to school with all of those.

I’d have said about 1970 from my own experience, although Sandra and especially Irene belong to an earlier era.

But I lived in Scotland a few decades ago and naming trends were very behind England. I don’t think that will be true now.

Late 50s. I was born in 1959 (but my name isn't on there)

Wow. That's astonishingly late to me. (I was born before that, and those mostly seem like names from either my parents' generation, or at least a few years older than me.)

Having said that, I'm from London, and we had a huge mix of ethnicities and nationalities, so far fewer 'British' names.

1974-1979 - most of those in my school girls names older than me and boys in my year.

I'm surprised Sandra and Sharon were still being chosen then, not because they aren't nice names, but they were surely out of favour by then.

I was going to say mid to late sixties birth perhaps a little earlier. there were no sandras in my classes in the seventies. I have a cousin sandra who is older than me by quite a bit

I'm in there, so 1962.

I was born and raised in Scotland within a couple of years of 84 and still would have guessed around 1960. The only Irene I knew was 40 years older than me. Andrew and Claire were popular enough names though. George strikes me as very English. Re naming trends being behind in Scotland I've never noticed this?! The people I went to school with had very similar first names to people my age I've since met in England.
