Centre parcs and travel cot

Hi hive minds. Im going to centre parcs and staying in an executive lodge but it has occured to me that it looks very tight for our travel cot. We have an 18 month old. Can someone with centre parcs experience tell me if they provide narrow cots to fill the space or does anyone have any recommendations for narrow travel cots? Thanks!

To clarify we are staying in a 3 bed lodge which has twin and two doubles. We have the large double and i thought it would be big enough but now im doubting myself. There are no other rooms free. Baby needs to be in with us

Hi, which CP are you going to? All provide cots so no need to take yours. Most CP have wooden cots. We stayed in a 3 bed exec lodge a few weeks ago and they gave us a travel cot. We put it in the bedroom with single beds and just moved the single beds slightly. It fit totally fine.

Does that help?

I think they provide a cot, I'm pretty sure ours had one in the cupboard. Can you ring and ask? I assume anything they provide is the right size to actually fit in the room 🤞🏻

Oh just seen your clarification. I’m sure it will fit. Would you consider putting it in the bathroom in your room?

We took our own a few weeks ago and fit in the main bedroom at the side of my bed no problem. Had room to walk around it 🙂

Move the bed to the side of the room and put the cot next to it.

Thanks everyone. We're staying in the sherwood cp. I did wonder about putting the cot in the bathroom. Would need to use someone elses ensuite for my obligatory midnight wee though. I've seen pics of the wooden one they provide and it seems very narrow. My 18 month old is the same size as my friends 2 year old, hes a chunk, has anyone used those cota for a 2-3 year old and its been ok? Hes not the best sleeper at the best of times!

I prefer to use my own travel cot and it's just a normal sized one. It fit easily at the foot of the double bed with room to walk around.

I've stayed in the same style lodge at Sherwood and I just pushed the double bed to one side and put my travel cot next to it.

Thats good to know the beds move. From the pics it looks like the furniture would be fixed

I'm pretty sure all lodges have a continental cot that fits into the main bedroom. It's usually stored in the dining area.
