I’ve told my DD I put the Mr Kipling Viennese whirls away for her birthday - I have in fact just eaten the last one

That the blood test was nearly over when they were taking about 6 vials of the stuff!

I did not lie as such but I didn't tell DS (SN) who is y10, mute, gentle and anxious that no school in the county will take him and so we are being forced into home educating by LA whilst I am doing chemotherapy for cancer and same for y11.

Mines a few years old, not my children and slightly older.

I was babysitting for a friend, her 3 normally well behaved children were not settling down. I'd read them the riot act, it was midnight and they started singing, happy birthday, they had stayed up until it was the oldest birthday.

So I stormed into the room they had insisted on sharing asked them what they thought they were doing? That birthdays only start at 9am in the morning.

Apparently they believed this for years.

Bing is broken on our telly. Sorry. I tried to fix it, but just couldn’t manage it.

That she (12) might not have to partake in sports day. She does.

Under the right circumstances that would surely be assault. I'm not sure I can imagine the police arresting a small child for it, but I think it could be illegal.

I told toddler DD that the beetle at the bottom of the slide was ok and didn't need rescuing. (She's slightly obsessed with moving them out of harm's way.) It definitely didn't need rescuing but "ok" might not have been entirely accurate given it was dead.

That we couldn't watch/ listen to the annoying song on constant repeat on youtube for the 100th time as the people who sung it had gone on holiday!

We have the same problem with Blippi, just doesn’t work on our tv! What a shame!

Pesto pasta is made by baby unicorns and if she doesn't want to eat then that's ok but she will have to phone the baby unicorns to explain she doesn't like what they made for her.

That I am feeling much better (to ds aged 16 as he left for his Chemistry exam yesterday) I had been throwing up all night and managed to hold it in (including eating breakfast) until he left the house yesterday morning so he wouldn't spend the exam worrying about me! Think he got to the end of the driveway before I was sick again!

How does this work? I have a 5 year old who would definitely refuse to eat it if I told her this so she could speak to some baby unicorns

@UnalliterativeGeorge ah she doesn't want the baby unicorns to be sad! If she has to call them and tell them she hates their cooking the poor unicorns will be heartbroken 🤣
