Does my belly button piercing look infected? (pic)

Got my belly button pierced 5 days ago and it was fine the first 3 days. Now it's gotten very red and itchy at the top hole but noticed the hole looks a bit weird.

Is this the start of an infection or just normal healing?

You need to drown that bad boy in saline! It does look too short but I'm not sure if you're swollen or not. Salt water/saline and stop fucking touching it.

Thanks for all the replies, I ended up taking mine out a few months later as it always just stayed red and a bit weird (now left with a lovely scar) and then found out I was pregnant so haven't done anything else about it. Have a lovely month old baby though

Aaw congratulations!! I also have a devils horns type scar where I didn't get a pregnancy bar early enough. 🤦🏼‍♀️
