As title really! A long shot but any suggestions of a way I can cook them without an oven? Or any chance they can they be frozen?

Thanks in advance

I'd be knocking my neighbours door and ask to put it in theirs. Then give them a slice in thanks.

If your oven plugs in, have you checked the fuse? It could just be that rather than being 'dead'

If it's something like Victoria Sponge mix, bung some jam in the bottom of a microwaveable mixing bowl then pour the batter over the top.

or just dish it up raw with a spoon 😋🤦‍♀️

Ah yes, @mumwon makes a good point. The bowl needs to be quite big.😂

I'd check how it died - our conventional oven setting doesn't work, but the fan does as it is a different element.

Definitely the oven that has died as the hob is still working, and the oven turns on/lights up just isn't heating up. Apparently could be the element gone so we have ordered a new one 🤞

Thanks for all the cake talk. I froze one that had only got as far as the pan and steamed the one I had already put in the oven. Tastes fine so thank you for that!
