How to get into central London without driving into the city

Hi,
I have a hen party next Thursday in London but it's the day of all the train strikes so there's a very realistic chance I won't be able to get my train. I can drive but I'm anxious about driving in the city centre, especially as I'm pregnant and we'll be leaving after dark so the idea of trying navigate my way out of the city on my own is really stressful.
Are there any tube stations that I can use to get into the city but that are enough on the outskirts that are easy enough to drive to and will have parking for the day? I'm coming from Norfolk so preferably that side of London.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@ItsNotNormalLove that looks like a really good option, only 1.5 hour's drive for me, thank you. May I ask, do you need to pay congestion changes or emissions changes (whatever they all) to drive there do you know?

We've not had to pay anything so far. Bear in mind there aren't many spaces at Wanstead but a fairly big car park at Redbridge. You're not guaranteed a space at either. It's alright if you're not time limited - you've then got time to park up somewhere and work out where to try next if both are full!

We drive down from Suffolk along the A12 and park at Newbury Park. It’s literally on the A12, it’s so easy. £6 for 24 hours parking and about 30 minutes on the tube into central London.

I second Epping. Easy to get to, parking easy, can do phone parking payment. On central line. No city driving required.

We're going to Leicester Square so that kind of central (sorry I don't know London well). The only bus currently available will take over 4 hours to get there. I'm working on the Friday so need to get home the same night really and I haven't budgeted for a hotel in London as well.

If running Elizabeth line from an Essex station straight to Tottenham Court Road and walk a little

If you end up taking Elizabeth line, don't change train at Liverpool Street. Change at Stratford and take the Central line from there. It is just more simple (for me at least).

Thank you everyone, really excellent advice and tips. I feel a lot less anxious about it all knowing I have a few options.

@Namechanger355 the Elizabeth line in Essex is still only running to Liverpool Street at the moment. It is not all joined up yet.
