Just found out I'm pregnant with a third and now petrified!

Hello, DH and I thought I'd be nice to have a third...

DTD once thought nothing of it. And this morning found out I'm pregnant!

Is it normal to feel this way with a third? Don't think I felt this way with the first two.

Any advice/support welcome!

Im hoping that is the case!! Maybe itll become more real when finding out gender!

So I have a friend who is expecting a suprise 3rd who is our age. That has helped to talk to her! She is due a couple of months before. I also have a friend who told me about another friend who is pregnant with a third who is our age - so hearing these few stories have helped me a little. I also previously googled famous ppl who have had babies at an older age. LOL. Also- a major plus, I keep thinking....what if we would have just kept along....and I ended up pregnant 1 or 2 years from now!!

Great tip about the book- I need to find a good one to read. Not usually a big reader but sounds like a good idea! I just got to the beach for a week long vacation. Maybe that'll help!

I had a 17m old and a 4m old... was on the mini pill and two days late, so took a test at 5am that morning to put my mind at rest ... it was positive.

Got back into bed..prodded DH. 'Are you awake?' 'Uhuh' 'Are you in a good mood?'
'????'
'I'm pregnant'
He sat bolt up in bed, said 'Oh GOD' then rolled over back to sleep.
In the morning he turned to me and said 'I had the most awful dream'...
Looked at my face....

I was terrified... ended up with 3 children under 2.5. And you know what, once the initial panic subsided it was fine. Baby number 3 was the easiest iof the lot because she had built in entertainment, we were broke but survived (in fact I had a 4th 3 years later!) and I'm not Granny to her baby.

It will be ok :)

I have three and it's a wonderful dynamic. Enjoy every second there's nothing to be worried about.
