Going to Disneyland Paris in february

What the title says. I’m going next february to Disneyland Paris. Two mums and two 8 year old boys. We’re staying at Cheyenne hotel for one night so we’ll have access to both parks on two days. It would be lovely to stay more, but budget doesn’t allow it.
I have so many questions.
Has anybody been in february? What was it like? Is it very cold? How did you dress?
Do they close lot of attractions at that period? What about lines in restaurant, do you wait long?
Any other advice is welcome.

We went in February half term in 2020 - it was quite chilly, but bearable, although it can get really cold at that time of year so go prepared with layers of clothing! It was very busy, but we did everything without needing fast passes at all. Make use of the extra magic hours in the mornings, especially for popular rides like Crush's Coaster and Big Thunder Mountain. Everything was open when we went, except for a few rides closed for scheduled maintenance. Download the DLP app to see queue times etc. Wear comfy shoes as there's lots of walking/queuing, and pack a spare pair in case one gets wet if there's rain. Take refillable water bottles and those little squeezy things of squash, and use the water fountains to refill - far cheaper than forking out for drinks in the parks.

There is a great helpful Facebook group called Disneyland Paris for Brits, might be worth joining there - it’s really active and full of useful posts!

I've been in Feb when my two were 7 and 9 and we had a good time. It was bloody cold, but manageable with gloves and hats -unfortunately it also rained which wasn't fun, but we made the most of it. Nothing was closed, the lines were busy though and there was fair amount of queue jumping and unfortunately smoking in queues which isn't allowed but nobody seems to police it. If you are getting buses back to resorts try to not use them at opening and closing times as the lines are HUGE and it's literally a scrum trying to get on as nobody queues and just shoves their way onboard.
Food is very expensive but that's expected being Disney obviously! We took snacks and drinks along. We managed to eat in the Rainforest Cafe which was nice, the queues were long though so again, try to stick to outside of prime times if you can!
I'm sure you will have a great time, two days is absolutely perfect, we managed both parks in that time and just repeated things in the other two days we had booked.

The restaurants are shit in the park. We had dreadful meals at the Ratatouille restaurant and the Princess lunch. Our hotel buffet was good (Sequoia). The best meal we had was the character breakfast, pre booked. The restaurants on park are stupidly expensive. Take lunch in with you would be my advice!

Pre book everything you can.

Chez Remy was one of my favourites. The theming is great! We also loved Agrabah, Downtown and Billy Bobs. The app has menus so you can see what sort of thing to expect.

Paris can be seriously cold in February. It’s not typical, but it can get down to -10c (min temp). It’s very normal to get for -5cmin to +10c max kind of temps in February. Bring shoes with decent sole thickness and wear layers. I don’t know if it’s a rule but I’d definitely go for neckwarmers (close fitting closed loop) rather than scarves because roller coasters and loose scarves sound like a bad combo to me.

We went in Dec. Good advice above - it’s worth taking 2 coats / shoes if likely to rain on day 1 as hard to dry stuff overnight. Layers, warm comfy shoes - you walk MILES & are standing for hours. I had boots with sheepskin inner soles! Eat before actual meal times. Take snacks for queues. Make a beeline for the popular rides first thing. Again the app is useful for checking queue times.

Similar weather to London, so anywhere between snow and sunshine.
8 y o will be too excited to be cold though.

Will you be buying any fast passes over the days? Just had a quick read through TripAdvisor and it's getting a bit of a panning over huge queue length and cleanliness. On the back of that I'd probably take some dettol wipes and hand san in my bag if you aren't planning to already.

We went in Feb and were incredibly fortunate & weather was glorious. If we'd been the same week in the previous year it was snowing.
We mostly ate in quick service restaurants in the park or at the hotel buffet apart from cinderella/princess lunch. Queues were ok in village though for food.
I would 100% go to the plaza Gardens character breakfast/lunch if your budget allows.
