I'm a big believer that weight loss is mostly diet. I'm exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old and follow the Weight Watchers Breastfeeding plan. Its really balanced, varied and healthy (rich in protein, fruit and veg, cooking from scratch etc) and works (did it before). However, my body holds on to weight while I'm breastfeeding so weightloss is very slow but generally consistent (sometimes something like 200g a week).
I had breastmilk supply issues at the start and am loathe to create more of a calorie deficit. In fact I am really enjoying the plan and am in a very good place with food, emotionally speaking (if that makes sense).
I hate exercise but enjoy getting my steps on my FitBit. I would like to see if I can use steps to create a calorie deficit. 10,000 each day hasn't made much of a difference to the weightloss.
What has everyone else's experiences been like? What was your number that you noticed helped you lose weight or lose it a bit faster?
I know someone will come on to comment that I should be doing HIIT or strength training. I hatehatehate* * exercise and walking is the only one that I enjoy and will realistically do every day.
So what's your magic number?
