Seeing as he mentioned Dr Seuss I'm going with The Twat In The Hat which is quite obvious and a bit shit BlushGrin but I'm sure MNers will come up with good ones..

And from 2009: Boris Johnson, Mayor of London

"My favourite book is The Iliad (by Homer) because it tells you all you need to know about life, death and the necessity of failure.'

The Iliad, the story of the Trojan War, offers several moral lessons to its readers, including the importance of leaders treating their soldiers with respect, the importance of accepting apologies, and the need for respecting family bonds.

Maybe he should re-read it...

My favourite book is The Iliad (by Homer)

I think when choosing a role model, he's mistaken Homer for Homer Simpson.

He's had Usborne create a special edition called That's not my Responsibility...

That was a man who has never, ever read a story to his children speaking.

Absolutely. Barely realises children can be read to, still less by their daddies.

That’s amazing. ‘That’s not my responsibility, it’s far too awkward…’

There must be a Peppa Pig story, given how much he loves Peppa Pig World.
