I know new build photos are aspirational but surely this extreme should be banned?

The entrance hall in the photo is practically the size of the living room on the floor plan. I don't know where to start on the image of the kitchen.

When Iodged, I shared a bathroom...

I don't get the obsession with en suites when you have no storage space.

The nice ladies must have their own private facilities. They have an attack of the vapours if they think anyone else may have used their "rest room" for anything beyond powdering their noses, especially men or working-class people.

(Although the very nice ladies do not urinate or defecate, so they have no need for such facilities at all Grin)

MK is OK and easy to get round with all the roundabouts and grid system, there are some strange looking houses though, I saw some the other week with like half a roof, they were higher one side with a roof that sloped towards the back, they just looked a bit strange

Oh I wish I had saved another house I saw there. It was a weird modern four story box in a road of similar styled but different houses. It had balconies on 3 floors overlooking a wood area. When you went to the map you realised there was a high security prison on the other side of all those trees.

Oh found one of them https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/119783402?utmcampaign=property-details&utmmcontent=buying&utmmedium=sharing&utmmsource=copytoclipboard#/&channel=RES_BUY

I quite like the quirky house but I wouldn't feel safe with balconies near that prison.

They were similar to that, roof was maybe a bit more sloped and without balconies, it is probably to make best use of space.

PestorPeston · 30/05/2022 20:24

I'd go for the house by the prison.

At least you know the neighbours are well supervised.

And the hall may be a true representation.

User487216 · 30/05/2022 20:25

It probably doesn't mention or show the garden because that is probably filled with the heat pump.

The house by the prison at least has sensible bathroom options - a toilet at least on every floor, accessible from every bedroom. I've seen several houses which have two bedrooms on, say, the second floor, one of which has an ensuite. Whoever's in the other bedroom has to go downstairs for the loo in the night. Not great if you're unwell.....
