Driclor

Hi all.

Has anyone ever used Driclor? I have excessively sweaty arm pits that are really really embarrassing (apologies if TMI!).

I've just applied Driclor to dried arm pits, and I haven’t shaved for a few days. I actually feel right now like I want to rip my own arm pits out, they are stinging and itching like mad!!

Has this happened to anyone else? Will it go off? I don’t know how I can cope using this each night, it’s already stopping me from sleeping 😭

I need to try and persevere for a week as I’m going to a wedding and I need to not sweat because the dress I’m wearing will show it!

Hello! I used it in my early twenties and remember it did sting like hell the first couple of times but it got better incredibly quickly. It was an absolute game changer for me, get through the first night/ application and I'm sure you'll be fine!

Oh yes I feel your pain! It's not pleasant at all but does work a treat. As PP said it will pass after a short while. Sounds odd but I found putting tissues under my armpits so there was no skin on skin helped loads during the night with the itching and irritation. Stick with it!

You need to make sure your pits are completely dry. It will make the stinging worse. It didn't work for me unfortunately. I just made changes in my clothing- dark colours, cotton if possible, lose shapes, nothing tight etc.

Hope it works for you.

Wash it off! I remember it still burning in the morning if I applied to much.

The secret for me was to use very little, only a few dabs, not even full rolls.

Try not to shave until the wedding if possible. Then you can dab it on every night til then.

It'll get better in time if the wedding isn't for a week.

I found you couldn't have shaved in the last couple of weeks if you wanted no pain (and once put it on right after shaving which resulted in raw swollen armpits - never again!). It was all worth it for me as it completely stopped any sweating, plus each application lasted at least a week.

Yes, that happens to me too. Put a tissue in your arm pits for the night!

I used this as a teen and yes it can really sting! You really need to make sure that your armpits are as dry as possible when it goes on and that you don't get sweaty overnight! Not easy though I remember waking up really hot one night with painful pits and having to run to wash it off.

It does work brilliantly though if you can get through that. A much less painful but not quite as effective option is triple dry. So if Driclor proves too much then switch to that.
