Just wondering how people have been affected so far.
Have your energy bills risen massively? Cost of food?
I have noticed a rise but it hasn't made much of a difference for us but see stories in the news of people not being able to eat ect.
Is it really that bad?
Live a fairly sheltered life in a small village, would just be interested to know what it's like for people in larger towns and cities..
For reference I live in a 2 bed terraced and my energy bill has only increased from £65 to around £80 p/m , food shop has gone up from £60 to £80 a week for 2 adults and 1 infant.

I’ve noticed food and fuel prices increasing quite a lot. I think I spend around £100 a month more now on food than a few years ago.

our gas and electric DD hasn’t risen yet. But I’m expecting the email any day saying they’re putting it up. Luckily we live in a modern energy efficient house.

m we can absorb the costs as my partners had a recent pay rise. It just means that we don’t feel better off from it.

I was searching up on cost of living crisis and housing and came across this blog post.

With fuels so high, our government must be raking it in with extra fuel duty and VAT.

Just went to fill the car up, usually I get to about £50, maybe £55 before it stops filling as tank is full.

This time it went over £70 and pump was still going but I was so freaked at going over £70 I had to stop.

Petrol at £1.89 a litre and diesel at £1.98.😮
