So I’ve seen a few really interesting posts about things that have helped you.

I currently have a toddler and a 6mo

naturally sleep is tough.

what are your go to sleep improvement tricks? Perhaps not length but quality?
id love to hear what some of you do to help :)

Staying in bed for about 12 hours (so basically 8pm - 8am) during the really grim newborn stage. At least you're resting even if not asleep.

Using the 'pause' method to encourage baby to connect sleep cycles. Still don't know if this worked really well or she'd have slept through early anyway!

Moving her into own room at six months. Everyone slept so much better after that!

When they were newborn I'd go to sleep after they had gone down, around 8pm. Then when they woke for the next feed I'd have had 4 hours already so I wouldn't be exhausted. Sometimes a dream feed also worked and that would give me a longer stretch of sleep.
