I read on here a while ago a few people who had had specific intensive therapy (possibly for trauma?) that had helped them when things like CBT couldn't. I can't for the life of me remember the name though.
I'm sure that the thread(s) said it was quite a niche therapy at the time but had been developed to be used for other issues requiring therapy.
Does anyone know what I could be referring to? I've tried googling but haven't got anywhere so far.
I'm looking for intensive therapy for my husband, he's been under a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist and occ health therapist (all NHS) for several years now, and on a myriad of medication but nothing is working. I'm wondering if a course of good, intensive therapy might be beneficial. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
