Whirli Administration - What Now?

Apologies if a thread already started but couldn't see one!
I received an email tonight saying that Whirli has gone into administration.
What does this mean? They said we have to return any return toys but I'm half way through a subscription that two months ago I boosted by £90 to get bigger and better toys. Is that my money gone? Or rather, DS's money as I used what he received when he was born plus a voucher of theirs bought by my DF for his first birthday.
Is it right that I must return the current rented toys and will receive no refund or anything?
I'm rather ignorant of what administration/liquidation etc means. And gutted as I could have spent that money on toys he could have actually kept!

Was going to sign up for this last week but decided to wait until next payday - just looked on the website to see if they had a particular toy and looks like I dodged a bullet.

Such a shame as it seems like a great idea and I'm not keen on buying tonnes of toys. Are there any similar companies?

An email has been sent stating they won't be refunding anyone and neither will the company in charge of the administration

I have 2 weeks left of a 6 months subscription. I emailed them and they confirmed no renewals would be going through as they are in administration. They also offered me the option to keep all the toys for a small piece (£15 for everything I had at home) instead of sending them back, which I did. The final price took into account how many days were left in my subscription.

We were gifted a subscription to Borrow and Nest by a friend and its really great. Similar rental concept but all wooden, eco toys.

This was meant to be a reply to a previous message on the thread but it didn't work!

I was holding off sending the toys back and was sent a quote of about £110 to buy them. I replied disputing this (due to them not being worth RRP, seeking subscription refund etc). They have replied today with a revised offer of £0 as they had apparently miscalculated the settlement offer (didn't take into account delivery booster etc). Luckily DS loves every toy in this swap so I'm very lucky and happy to keep the toys (the rainbow ladder is supposedly worth £211 new so hope to sell when he is finished with it). So I'd advise anyone else in my position (six months subscription left and decent toys) to hold off any returns and query any initial settlement figure.
