Taking a 2.5yo to Brighton, what's great for toddlers there?

We're visiting Brighton for may half term!
DD will be just turned 2.5.

Going Monday, leaving Friday, so 3 whole days and an afternoon and a morning.

We're going to go to aquarium one morning.
And obviously the beach.

Is the pier fun fair worth doing? She's just over 90cm.

What can you recommend?

Toy museum my son went on school trip and came back buzzing at all interactive stuff.

The beach is giant pebbles but if you walk in the direction of Hove there is a sandpit playarea complete with paddling pool which is nice.

You can get a wristband for unlimited kids rides on the Pier which works out quite cheaply (adults goes free)

The playground/paddling pool by the West Pier is nice, as is Hove Lagoon playground/paddling pool (sometimes there's a little fair)

Playground wise "The Level" is big, and you can cross the road and go to the Open Market to look at the quirky shops.

Have a look at Drusillas and Knockhatch. Both about 30 mins drive from Brighton.

Sn0tnose · 13/05/2022 15:49

Drusillas is fantastic for that age group. Entry is not the cheapest but there is so, so much for children to do. If it’s warm, take a swimming costume and towel for her as they have a tots splash area. And you know the rides that they have outside supermarkets? They’re all free. And fantastic playgrounds.

queens park is good. (or was when I last went there)

Oliveandbay · 13/05/2022 16:11

Softplay at the end of the pier, it's massive!

Sealife centre, the sand pit and playpark near Hove on the beach, the upside down house on the beach, unlimited wristband for kids rides on the pier, the level, pavilion gardens, Preston Park.

Food wise - Fatto a mano, al campo, chips on the beach!
