Is there anyway to stop withdrawal side effects? Depression/anxiety meds

Hi,

I have NC for this.

I been feeling sick for the last few days - nausea, dizziness, headaches and light headedness etc. I’ve only just realised it’s because I ran out of my anxiety meds just before the weekend (sertraline).

I completely forgot to pick up my prescription on Friday and the pharmacy was closed on the weekend, after which I somehow forgot to pick them up until now.

I was on quite a high dose. It got really bad on the way back from work today. I have a really important/incredibly busy day at work tomorrow and I really need to feel better! I have now taken my dose.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Now you've restarted, you just need to stick to the dose and you should soon be back to where you were. The withdrawal effects will soon resolve.
Have a restful evening, get yourself organised for tomorrow so there's no rush or panic in the morning. Do whatever you feel helps: a nice bath, a herbal tea, a meditation, some rescue remedy!
I set a reminder on my phone to re-order my meds in good time, as the thought of running out makes me anxious.
