If you could have a conversation with anyone dead or alive who would you choose?

Interesting to hear who you would choose, I need to think about it all. Maybe I would have Oscar Wilde for one as love his quotes especially 'We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars'.... Also my mum who is no longer with us as she would liven it all up as she was a great character and enjoyed a good drink.

Jesus! Easily the most influential person in the history of the world. I’d like to know whether it was intentional, and whether he lived up to the hype.

LadyHelenaJustina · 12/05/2022 15:02

Sir Terry Pratchett

Redglitter · 12/05/2022 15:04

My Dad absolutely no question about it

Sapphirensteel · 12/05/2022 15:12

My partner.
And Freddie Mercury if I can have two.

ssd · 12/05/2022 15:14

Mum & Dad plus my much missed dog.

Snorkellingaround · 12/05/2022 15:24

I'd go for Sir Terry Pratchett as well. His wisdom and perspective on the world that shines through all his writing has helped me so many times in life.

Kat1953 · 12/05/2022 15:24

My grandad.

Amdone123 · 12/05/2022 15:26

My mum. Her sense of humour was legendary.
Or my dad. Just to let him know I really do appreciate everything he did for us.

ChildDLA · 12/05/2022 15:26

Jesus.
My late Pa to apologise for something I did years ago.

upinaballoon · 12/05/2022 15:27

Anne Boleyn, Jane Austen, Jesus of Nazareth, all the people I found when I was doing the family tree, and that's just the start. I'm sure we're allowed more than one, aren't we?🙂

Spidey66 · 12/05/2022 15:30

Aside from my parents, I'd like to talk to Amy Winehouse and tell her to say ''yes, yes, yes'' to rehab.

WhatWouldIAsk · 12/05/2022 15:30

My dad.

I am convinced my mum was directly responsible for his death and I would ask him if I am right.

Convoi · 12/05/2022 15:38

My mother in law. I never knew her as she died when DH was a child. I'd have loved to have had a mother in law and it always feels strange hearing so much about someone who I've never met! I'd want to ask her about what DH was like as a small child and her experience of being a mother (especially as she wasn't from the UK). DH was her only child so I'd love to let her know what a great guy he's become, how missed she is, and that she has 2 grandchildren!

BOOTS52 · 12/05/2022 15:39

Loving all these answers and yes as many as we want.
