Lack of support work

I work in a corporate role that is a function in the business that has its own programmes to service the business. The function is under staffed and has had a recent restructure to realign own ship of takes. This restructure has failed massively and caused more issues.

Due to the nature of the scope of my work I don’t directly sit in one area and function takes no direct ownership of any of my output. Resolving issues and getting decisions seems impossible and I’m constantly feeling left on my own by senior management. I’m drained and matters are made worse by fact I directly work with consultants that are hated by my entire junction. They also refuse to communicate with the consultants leaving me in the middle to manage the dynamic.

I honestly can’t cope any longer in this situation and don’t know what to do.

I don't understand a lot of your post, but from what I have picked up you are completely stressed by your work situation to the extent you can't cope?

In which case I would write out issues as you see them as bullet points.
If you can see solutions to any of the issues, note those down too.
Then ask for a meeting with your line manager to let them know you are at breaking point and that the company need to look at the role they are asking you to do, explaining that it doesn't work because.....

Depending on their response you then look for another job, or work with them to make your current job workable.

I’ve tried to not make it outing.

Ill try speaking to my line manager but i honestly don’t think they can resolve it.

You look for another job, either a sideways move in the same company or look elsewhere.

Or, you stick with this job and come up with a plan to make it better, and do what's is within your means to do.

I've had restructures which meant 70% of my work was just gone overnight as I was co-Ordinating project work over a 30 person team, then the team went to all different departments, it was utterly shit and I stuck with it for 3 months before leaving.
