Glasses

I'll cut to the chase...

I have a wide head, most glasses I try on look like I've had to force them on with a crowbar. The arms stick out significantly if you look at me directly.

I need to wear them pretty much full time but I can't find any that fit.

I get headaches from having to strain my eyes. I wear my current pair at home only as they look so ridiculous.

I've tried Specsavers and 3 other online try before you buy retailers.

I've tried mens glasses too.

I'm having no luck.

Anybody else with big-round head-syndrome that can point me in the right direction?

I have the same ! I have to go to an independent optician who seem to have more choice than Specsavers although I do only have a handful to choose from.

The glasses come in different sizes (size is written on the arms) so she selects all the largest and I choose from there. More expensive but worth it.

I have this problem. You need to forget the chains - I would find an independent optician who is also a bit of a glasses geek, who will get a bit obsessive about finding something that fits right and suits your face.

I've got some Ørgreen ones at the moment which are fab. Previously had good experience with Face a Face, LOWERCASE and Kirk Originals.

Try sunglasses frames. I too am mammoth of the head. I have optical lenses put in sun glass frames quite often. Bigger choice of wide set frames
